Reconquista
Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Humberto Estavan took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Reconquista defense, Mariano Nuñez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Gaskon. The Reconquista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Gaskon should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Humberto Estavan sped through Reconquista's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Gaskon. Clemente Gaskon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Estavan in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Asociacion atletica los A's Rodrigo Haimar got a free kick in the 14th minute. Eriberto Papo, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Anibal Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Clemente Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Rodrigo Haimar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asociacion atletica los A and the Reconquista players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Reconquista booed when Asociacion atletica los A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reconquista's Clemente Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Nuñez in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute Tomas Berto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Gaskon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Honorato Montay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reconquista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asociacion atletica los A the free kick. A collision led to Reconquista getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Honorato Montay hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Reconquista's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Estavan came free, but Clemente Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Tomas Berto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asociacion atletica los A's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Estavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, Reconquista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Elixio to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Nuñez, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo Odon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Eriberto Papo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reconquista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asociacion atletica los A the free kick. Eriberto Papo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Humberto Estavan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Humberto Estavan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente Gaskon. That made the score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. Mariano Nuñez in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Clemente Gaskon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 67th minute, Rolando Elixio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Humberto Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asociacion atletica los A's Victoriano Xabat couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Reconquista. Clemente Gaskon made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Rodrigo Haimar sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Nuñez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Clemente Gaskon made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Reconquista's zone, Humberto Estavan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Gaskon came out of the goal and Humberto Estavan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anibal Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Odon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Anibal Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Asociacion atletica los A could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Reconquista throughout the match.
