Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Jairo Gagriel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Argentinos Juniors's Jairo Gagriel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Fernanco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With an all-out effort, Palca's Dante Feliz threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Geronimo Esdras, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Romeo Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute Geronimo Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Feliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes in the game, Geronimo Esdras fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dante Feliz having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Palca's Sergio Ishmael made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Feliz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Esdras in the 30th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Dante Feliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Argentinos Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Nuxila to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Ishmael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dante Feliz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Argentinos Juniors's Tomás Pacifico got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Palca defense, Evaristo Roldan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Fernanco. The Palca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Fernanco should have stopped the shot. After 44 played minutes Palca got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Ler. If Sergio Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Geronimo Esdras made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Palca booed when Argentinos Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Esdras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Feliz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Dante Feliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Ishmael struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Dante Feliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palca. 63 minutes into the match, Geronimo Esdras notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Argentinos Juniors's Dante Feliz. Dante Feliz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the match, Palca's goalkeeper Agustin Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Roldan. In the 74th minute, Ciro Goito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Feliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Esdras in the 76th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Cristofol. Palca's Victoriano Libertad couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 79th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Argentinos Juniors. 86 minutes into the match, Palca's Geronimo Esdras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Feliz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
