Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Primitivo Ederono took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 minutes of play, Club Atlético Los Santos's Julio Domenec made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Ibon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atlético Los Santos's Cleto Iraitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Los Santos from getting a goal against them. When Primitivo Ederono came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Huanguelén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Ederono couldn't finish the play. Cleto Iraitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Firme in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Club Atlético Los Santos's Cleto Iraitz got control of the ball when Eloy Firme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huanguelén's Tomas Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Domenec in the 18th minute of play. Norberto Harri kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tobias Birila came free in the 26th minute and tried to tip the ball over Cleto Iraitz, but to the joy of Club Atlético Los Santos's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Los Santos's zone, Primitivo Ederono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Iraitz came out of the goal and Primitivo Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloy Firme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Cleto Iraitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Firme in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Iraitz saved Club Atlético Los Santos from getting behind. Julio Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tomas Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Eloy Firme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Iraitz. Club Atlético Los Santos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Firme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Eloy Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Iraitz having to interfere. In the 58th minute Primitivo Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Iraitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Huanguelén booed when Club Atlético Los Santos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Kaiet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cleto Iraitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Primitivo Ederono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Los Santos's Cleto Iraitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cleto Iraitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Firme's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Los Santos defense, Primitivo Ederono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleto Iraitz. The Club Atlético Los Santos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Iraitz should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Lobo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Lobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvestre Lobo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Eloy Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Ederono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huanguelén's Primitivo Ederono got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebio Perfecto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Ibon having to make a save. 101 minutes into the game, Julio Domenec lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Tomas Ibon. Despite being the better team, Huanguelén failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
