Romeo Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Urtun, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Enrique Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coiruro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Paublo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Iyan in the 73rd minute of play forced Coiruro AFC's goalkeeper Romeo Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th match minute, Coiruro AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Phelipe to maneuver through the defense. C.A. Los Borbotones's Prudencio Abastas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. Edgard Urtun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Papo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Flavio Phelipe kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched C.A. Los Borbotones eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
