With a left leg Dario Barto saved Los Pibes de Elia from getting behind. Nicanor Toribio's late challenge caught a C.A-Chance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Toribio helped the player get up and apologised. Nicanor Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Criston in the 11th minute of play forced C.A-Chance's goalkeeper Victoriano Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Fabian Baraquiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Hernando. C.A-Chance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabian Baraquiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dario Barto made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Norberto Lauro sent off a good shot on target. Vinicio Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Victoriano Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Criston in the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the C.A-Chance defense, Fabian Baraquiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoriano Hernando. The C.A-Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Hernando should have stopped the shot. After 30 played minutes Los Pibes de Elia got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Atauri. 33 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Atauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Pibes de Elia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A-Chance the free kick. Lorenzo Atauri hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Victoriano Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Baraquiel in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of C.A-Chance booed when Los Pibes de Elia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Boni, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Abelardo Boni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dario Barto having to make a save. Norberto Lauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Barto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Los Pibes de Elia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Abelardo Boni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Barto having to interfere. Dario Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Boni, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Felix Sandalio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. C.A-Chance's Norberto Lauro got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pibes de Elia's zone, Abelardo Boni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Barto came out of the goal and Abelardo Boni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Pibes de Elia's Dario Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Lauro in the 72nd minute of play. Los Pibes de Elia's Vinicio Criston got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Vinicio Criston made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Hernando. C.A-Chance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Dario Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Beremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Toribio got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Los Pibes de Elia's Nicanor Toribio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Dario Barto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Lauro in the 94th minute of the match.
