The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zubillaga FC's Teodosio Dalmai got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Justino Chorache fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zubillaga FC's protests and gave Justino Chorache a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ayres Urquiza booed when Zubillaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Chorache didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Ayres Urquiza got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Tancredo. Nemesio Amaya, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ayres Urquiza's zone, Teodosio Dalmai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Eudoxio came out of the goal and Teodosio Dalmai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Manny struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Fermin Eudoxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zubillaga FC. The supporters of Ayres Urquiza booed when Zubillaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Daniel Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayres Urquiza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Raebert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodosio Dalmai succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Zubillaga FC's Teodosio Dalmai got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Manny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Eudoxio having to make a save. 42 minutes into the game, Zubillaga FC's Teodosio Dalmai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fermin Eudoxio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 47th minute of the match Nemesio Amaya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermin Eudoxio skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Donato Florin made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Fermin Eudoxio managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Zubillaga FC's Rodolfo Manny fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fermin Eudoxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Dalmai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Hernando's late challenge caught a Ayres Urquiza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Hernando helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Donato Florin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaston Videl was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Rodolfo Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Eudoxio having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Zubillaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Manny. Rodolfo Manny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Eudoxio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Zubillaga FC's Rodolfo Manny made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Eudoxio was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ayres Urquiza getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jeronimo Evangelista hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Rodolfo Manny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zubillaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Manny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fermin Eudoxio was a little too slow when Teodosio Dalmai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-4. When the match was over Zubillaga FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ayres Urquiza throughout the match.
