Inocencio Joseph started the match with the kick off. If Inocencio Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Jerrold in the 6th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Silverio Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When CA Sabaleros!'s Ubaldo Xacintu in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candelaria FC's goalie prevented a goal. Silverio Tino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Joseph's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Apolo Adrio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelaria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Sabaleros! the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Adrio to maneuver through the defense. CA Sabaleros! were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Candelaria FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emilio Salvator took the corner. The corner ended in Emilio Salvator almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Candelaria FC's Silverio Tino did a great save. When CA Sabaleros!'s Ubaldo Xacintu in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candelaria FC's goalie prevented a goal. Silverio Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Candelaria FC's Octavio Fernendo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ermegildo Sayvion. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. CA Sabaleros!'s Inocencio Joseph got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Octavio Fernendo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria FC's protests and gave Octavio Fernendo a yellow card for diving instead. Octavio Fernendo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Inocencio Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Silverio Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Inocencio Joseph cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Silverio Tino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Pedro Hitzeder notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Candelaria FC's Silverio Tino. Silverio Tino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Joseph came free, but Silverio Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Ubaldo Xacintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, CA Sabaleros!'s Inocencio Joseph dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Silverio Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silverio Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Gentza in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Inocencio Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Tino having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as CA Sabaleros!'s Inocencio Joseph slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silverio Tino. That made the score 1-4 after 96 minutes of play. CA Sabaleros!'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
