An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Mattin in the 4th minute of play forced Agronomía AFC's goalkeeper Ignacio Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Riachuelo AFC's goalkeeper Anacleto Ledesma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Modestio. Ignacio Dimo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Mattin went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Amancio Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Dimo having to interfere. Amancio Eutropio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Celso Isauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ignacio Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Mattin in the 33rd minute of the match. Ignacio Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Mattin in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Godfredo Sugoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agronomía AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riachuelo AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Agronomía AFC's Godfredo Sugoi got a free kick in the 36th minute. Riachuelo AFC's Diego Mattin got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godfredo Sugoi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Agronomía AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Godfredo Sugoi hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Agronomía AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Eutropio came free, but Ignacio Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Riachuelo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Argi. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Modestio was the one to do the kick off. Ignacio Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Eutropio in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Amancio Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachuelo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Eutropio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Isauro kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Amancio Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachuelo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Eutropio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anacleto Ledesma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Modestio, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Amancio Eutropio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignacio Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Eutropio, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Amancio Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Diego Mattin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Riachuelo AFC's Amancio Eutropio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 93rd minute Hipolito Argi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Dantae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Anacleto Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riachuelo AFC played a much better game than Agronomía AFC and deserved their victory. The Agronomía AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
