The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eustacio Mark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Liberto in the 15th minute of the match. Tratayén's Eustacio Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Liberto in the 16th minute of play. When Raimundo Quexal fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tratayén's protests and gave Raimundo Quexal a yellow card for diving instead. Raimundo Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Anibal Dominguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Dominguez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Eustacio Mark when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Tratayén's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Liberto came free, but Eustacio Mark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ensenada FC's Froilan Liberto got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Raimundo Quexal came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tratayén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Quexal couldn't finish the play. Tratayén's Eustacio Mark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Tratayén from getting a goal against them. Raimundo Quexal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ensenada FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
