When Santo Nesto came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Deportivo Santa Fé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Nesto couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Flecha Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Nesto came free, but Clodoveo Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Santo Nesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clodoveo Tximitx was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 40 minutes into the game, Santo Nesto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Clodoveo Tximitx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clodoveo Tximitx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacobo Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Tximitx having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Urdin made a kick off. Clodoveo Tximitx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Jerrald in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flecha Verde FC's zone, Genaro Fliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Tximitx came out of the goal and Genaro Fliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Tximitx stood somewhat misplaced when Santo Nesto came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 59 minute. Genaro Fliz charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genaro Fliz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Santa Fé's Genaro Fliz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience held their breath when Honorio Dodorol in the 64th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Luis Vitin's left hand side. 68 minutes into the match, Deportivo Santa Fé's Genaro Fliz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clodoveo Tximitx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flecha Verde FC's Clodoveo Tximitx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Flecha Verde FC from getting a goal against them. If Maximino Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Nesto in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Tximitx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santo Nesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
