Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arturo Matteo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ermegildo Galoer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Endura in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Mesada's Alfonso Guillerme got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 8 played minutes Mesada got a freekick which was hit by David Tiso. Alfonso Guillerme hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Arturo Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Goyo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 27 minutes into the match, Mesada's Adriana Pagomari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Bibiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Mesada got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Prejun. Enrique Bibiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Arturo Matteo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Unión FC's Enrique Bibiano. Enrique Bibiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Unión FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dario Irrintzi hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Frederico to strike the kick off in the second half. Adriana Pagomari could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Enrique Bibiano made a huge save. Adriana Pagomari who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Enrique Bibiano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Tiso struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Enrique Bibiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesada. After 67 played minutes Mesada got a freekick which was hit by David Tiso. In the 69th minute, Albino Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Matteo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Bibiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Casimiro Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Tiso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriana Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Bibiano having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Unión FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Pereyra to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Arturo Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Bibiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriana Pagomari got free with Enrique Bibiano in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 98 minutes, Arturo Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mesada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Matteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Unión FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mesada were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
