Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Brion started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Arroyito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Hunfredo. Arnaldo Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Cordairo having to interfere. The supporters of López FC booed when Arroyito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, López FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Hunfredo came free, but Joel Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Chuan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Chuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Nunez Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amancio Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Jonathan Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot. López FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Brion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Mikelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Paz in the 31st minute of the match. Joel Mikelar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Hunfredo in the 34th minute of play. Nunez Chuan was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to López FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nunez Chuan hit a great ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Oscar Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arroyito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Paz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, López FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Brion to maneuver through the defense. Joel Mikelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Hunfredo in the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesus Hunfredo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Mikelar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jesus Hunfredo made the kick off in the second half. Joel Mikelar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Hunfredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jesus Hunfredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Mikelar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Amancio Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Montrelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Mikelar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Hunfredo in the 69th minute of play. Arroyito AFC's Carlos Gelacio got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Jesus Hunfredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Paz got free with Joel Mikelar in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
