Spectators: 7165 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) C.A. CAU CAU's Remigio Aurken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Melchor Remigio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Rainerio was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After 5 minutes of play, C.A. CAU CAU's Melchor Remigio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Rainerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Lorenz struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Benigno Vasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toscal. The supporters of Toscal booed when C.A. CAU CAU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Ieltxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Vasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Lorenz in the 15th minute. Remigio Aurken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Aurken in the 26th minute of play forced Toscal's goalkeeper Pastor Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquilino Domiku during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Toscal's Aquilino Domiku got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd match minute, C.A. CAU CAU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Aurken to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Quinton in the 33rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Toscal's Sergio Tano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benigno Vasco. That made the score 1-2 after 37 minutes of play. Diego Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benigno Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Quinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Vasco having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Emiliano Gabirel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Quinton was the one to do the kick off. Gaston Quinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Vasco having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Diego Lorenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toscal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Lorenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Quinton in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Vasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Quinton in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Vasco saved C.A. CAU CAU from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Toscal's Diego Lorenz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Vasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Simon Ieltxu fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. CAU CAU's protests and gave Simon Ieltxu a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. CAU CAU! 75 minutes into the match, Toscal's Diego Lorenz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Vasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Toscal's Diego Lorenz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, C.A. CAU CAU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Obano to maneuver through the defense. Toscal were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after C.A. CAU CAU's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nestor Pitin took the corner. If Gaston Quinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benigno Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Lorenz in the 96th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Gaston Quinton notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of C.A. CAU CAU's Benigno Vasco. Benigno Vasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C.A. CAU CAU succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Toscal had controlled the match.
