The audience was convinced that Pedro Oihan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Viator was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Silverio Viator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Oihan in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Gourcuff FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Oihan came free, but Silverio Viator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, ChiquitinesF.C's Silvestre Matia tried to score from far away in the 50th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Ladio to strike the kick off in the second half. Gourcuff FC's Silverio Viator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Hats in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Gourcuff FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Faro to maneuver through the defense. When Pedro Oihan came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the ChiquitinesF.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Oihan couldn't finish the play. Claudio Hats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Viator having to interfere. Silverio Viator didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Hats went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pedro Oihan struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Silverio Viator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ChiquitinesF.C. Claudio Hats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ChiquitinesF.C fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when ChiquitinesF.C's Claudio Hats looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nicolas Xacintu charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Xacintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudio Hats took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Viator. Silverio Viator dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Claudio Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Silverio Viator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silverio Viator stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Hats's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
