Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) San Miguel Oeste F.C's Dalmacio Oxarra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leopoldo Raitin took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixto Lesardo. Sixto Lesardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Desiderio Mergildo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by San Miguel Oeste F.C's Dalmacio Oxarra. But to his dismay, Dalmacio Oxarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. San Miguel Oeste F.C's Sixto Lesardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Raitin in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, San Miguel Oeste F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Matthew to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ranquiles booed when San Miguel Oeste F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Lordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Tebaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in San Miguel Oeste F.C's zone, Leopoldo Raitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Lesardo came out of the goal and Leopoldo Raitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Tebaldo scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixto Lesardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ranquiles's zone, Dalmacio Oxarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Mergildo came out of the goal and Dalmacio Oxarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Dalmacio Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Miguel Oeste F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Oxarra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Mergildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Domingos Matthew kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Leopoldo Raitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Mergildo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Oxarra in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Mergildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

San Miguel Oeste F.C's Domingos Matthew got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Leoiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San Miguel Oeste F.C's Sixto Lesardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save San Miguel Oeste F.C from getting a goal against them. After 69 minutes, Domingos Matthew mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Miguel Oeste F.C and the Ranquiles players grew even worse after the yellow card. San Miguel Oeste F.C's Sixto Lesardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Raitin in the 70th minute of play. Desiderio Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Oxarra in the 77th minute of play. Leopoldo Raitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Dalmacio Oxarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Mergildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Dalmacio Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Desiderio Mergildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Armando Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Miguel Oeste F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Leoiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Mergildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Oxarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Domingos Matthew's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Mergildo was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Sixto Lesardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Tebaldo in the 96th minute.
