Eriberto Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcos Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Esiquio having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Luciano Tolino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Blas Dalmu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Union de Sta Fe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caldera the free kick. In the 16th minute, Luciano Tolino made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Berasko. Union de Sta Fe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marcos Maore kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Eriberto Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldera's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Medero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Berasko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Berasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Tolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Eriberto Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jacinto Berasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, Union de Sta Fe's Epifanio Mederi got a free kick in the 55th minute. Eriberto Medero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Jacinto Berasko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eriberto Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Union de Sta Fe's Jacinto Berasko got control of the ball when Eriberto Medero tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Luciano Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Berasko came out of the goal and Eriberto Medero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Medero got free with Jacinto Berasko in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Berasko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Medero in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Union de Sta Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Tolino came free, but Jacinto Berasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Union de Sta Fe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Luciano Tolino scored to the left of an out of position Jacinto Berasko, making the score, 0-2. Eriberto Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jacinto Berasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 92nd minute when Luciano Tolino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Luciano Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Caldera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Tolino couldn't finish the play. In the 98th play minute Eriberto Medero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacinto Berasko. 0-4.
