Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gervasio Felipillo kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Alfredo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juanis Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Senin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Senin having to interfere. Gervasio Felipillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Juanis Club booed when Astra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Felipillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Senin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anibal Felo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 24th play minute Alfredo Romero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edgardo Senin. 2-0. Anibal Felo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juanis Club's Gabriel Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Felipillo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 41st minute, Santiago Quilino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Juanis Club's zone, Santiago Quilino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Vidal came out of the goal and Santiago Quilino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Felo to make the kick off. After 51st play minutes Santiago Quilino shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Gabriel Vidal and just under the crossbar into goal. 63 minutes into the match, Astra's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Romero came free, but Edgardo Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Quilino in the 64th minute of the match. Astra's Amador Monte got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Santiago Quilino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Astra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
