If Ricardo Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Paul charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Paul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Xabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Xabier took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Constancio. Lucas Constancio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carlos Celipe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, one of Dune FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dune FC. Lucas Constancio went to the wrong direction when Norberto Gasteiz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.

The wind increased when Ricardo Xabier made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Camilo Bernabel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Etxatxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lucas Constancio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. After 68 minutes, Norberto Gasteiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilcaniyeu and the Dune FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, one of Pilcaniyeu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pilcaniyeu. If Camilo Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Dune FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Abadie to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Xabier got free with Lucas Constancio in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Constancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Xabier, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Lucas Constancio was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Ricardo Xabier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Xabier really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Ricardo Xabier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Pilcaniyeu's Ricardo Xabier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Constancio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardo Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lucas Constancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Maximo Amaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
