Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Club General Guido FC's Leon Licerio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 12 played minutes Club General Guido FC got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Artizar. When Jonatan Artaldo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pilcaniyeu's protests and gave Jonatan Artaldo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club General Guido FC booed when Pilcaniyeu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leon Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Amaya came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hipolito Lluciano could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Ricardo Xabier took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Hipolito Lluciano to make any attempt to save it. If Hilario Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Club General Guido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Endura to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Club General Guido FC's goalkeeper Hipolito Lluciano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Gasteiz. After a rather tough play, Club General Guido FC's Julian Shepherd got a free kick in the 30th minute. Pilcaniyeu's Norberto Gasteiz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club General Guido FC. When Ricardo Xabier came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pilcaniyeu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Xabier couldn't finish the play. Hipolito Lluciano was a little too slow when Ricardo Xabier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. Maximo Amaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Lluciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Pilcaniyeu's Maximo Amaya got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Xabier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club General Guido FC's Hipolito Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Xabier in the 52nd minute of play. Sebastian Garaile hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ricardo Xabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hipolito Lluciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Laureano Etxatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Etxatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Licerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ricardo Xabier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilcaniyeu's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Xabier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Lluciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustacio Salvadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Lluciano having to interfere. Pilcaniyeu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
