Isidro Tab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Belo in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Jorrin in the 24th minute of play forced Alpasinche's goalkeeper Isidro Tab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Tab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Jorrin went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Simon Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Vladimiro Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fermin Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Banegas charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Banegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Manchester City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Banegas to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Alpasinche's zone, Artemio Banegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Tab came out of the goal and Artemio Banegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Alpasinche defense, Simon Jorrin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Tab. The Alpasinche fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Tab should have stopped the shot. 48 minutes into the game, Manchester City FC's Artemio Banegas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Tab made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erubiel Belo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Manchester City FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Erroman. Erubiel Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Belo might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidro Tab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Belo ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidro Tab was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Erubiel Belo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erubiel Belo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manchester City FC! Orlando Quentin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Quiroga in the 75th minute of play forced Manchester City FC's goalkeeper Fermin Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermin Toro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Olando, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 91st match minute, Manchester City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Ferman to maneuver through the defense. Denis Olando took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Toro. Fermin Toro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After 98 minutes, Eustacio Hermon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpasinche and the Manchester City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 99 minutes into the game, Erubiel Belo lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Isidro Tab. When the final whistle sounded Manchester City FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alpasinche.
