In the 36th minute Blas Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Celestino Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernabe Teofilio was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After 82 played minutes Fundacion Godoy Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Moises Arnalt. Bernabe Teofilio made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Generoso Tartalo sent off a good shot on target. When Blas Enaut came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Salado FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Enaut couldn't finish the play. Moises Arnalt hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Salado FC's Blas Enaut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Salado FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
