The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when Mercedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cayetano Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mercedes's Saturnino Jakobe got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Cristobal Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Jonathan Mano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mercedes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Mandarina Mecánica the free kick. Mercedes:s Basilio Frances showed great skill when he stopped Eugenio Jakobe:s penalty. In the 23rd minute, Eugenio Jakobe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Frances was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Leon Calvet came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Mercedes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Calvet couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Cayetano Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Lander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Frances showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Ourente in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Cayetano Gau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Lander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Calvet in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Lander saved La Mandarina Mecánica from getting behind. Eduardo Francho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raul Lander. La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raul Lander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Calvet in the 42nd minute of the match. Raul Lander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mercedes! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Cayetano Gau made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Saturnino Jakobe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 58 played minutes, La Mandarina Mecánica's Eugenio Jakobe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basilio Frances came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Mandarina Mecánica reached it. In the 59th minute, Cayetano Gau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercedes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Cayetano Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Lander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cayetano Gau showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 67 minute of play. The corner ended in Cirilo Luke almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Mandarina Mecánica's Raul Lander did a great save. Basilio Frances made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Balasi in the 79th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Mercedes got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Illan. In the 84th minute Melchor Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Frances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Gau took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Lander. Raul Lander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in La Mandarina Mecánica's zone, Venancio Birjaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Lander came out of the goal and Venancio Birjaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, La Mandarina Mecánica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cayetano Gau fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Raul Lander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Illan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mercedes's Cayetano Gau fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Mercedes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
