The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After recieving a nice pass, Faver FC's Norberto Elivareo tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute Adolfo Egoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Gomesano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Genaro Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeronimo Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Casimiro Gomesano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faver FC's Ladislao Fiz pulled a muscle in his leg after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 25 minutes, Godfredo Etor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavalia and the Faver FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Lavalia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Etor to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jeronimo Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faver FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Osasun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Gomesano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lavalia's Ubaldo Mateo got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Godfredo Etor was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Godfredo Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Faver FC's Norberto Elivareo tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Faver FC booed when Lavalia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Lixandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardino Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Cloyo in the 41st minute of play. Genaro Cloyo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Bernardino Berriotxoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavalia. Genaro Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeronimo Osasun made a kick off. If Genaro Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Genaro Cloyo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Filomeno Beat charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Beat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Faver FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Beat. When Damaso Inko came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Faver FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Inko couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Egoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Gomesano having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Esteve Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Osasun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jeronimo Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Genaro Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavalia's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Cloyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Berriotxoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 96 minutes, Jeronimo Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faver FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Osasun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lavalia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Faver FC.
