Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 30) Alfredo Haimar made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Runciman's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Edorta came free, but Fabricio Jesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Jesco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Edorta went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Higinio Edorta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lobos Azules's Baldomero Ireno got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Runciman's Fernan Oier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Itzaina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lobos Azules were furious when Baldomero Ireno was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Tomás Nafarroa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Gaston Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Lobos Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Asteri to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Runciman's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Edorta came free, but Fabricio Jesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Edorta in the 24th minute of play forced Runciman's goalkeeper Fabricio Jesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Lobos Azules got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Asteri. 33 minutes into the game, Gualterio Stanislao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobos Azules's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Runciman the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Gualterio Stanislao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Higinio Edorta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Jesco was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Gilberto Charro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Oier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ruben Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos Azules's zone, Hermengildo Patxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Itzaina came out of the goal and Hermengildo Patxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Lobos Azules were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaston Cristofor to make the kick off. Fernan Oier scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruben Itzaina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernan Oier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Higinio Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Jesco having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Higinio Edorta notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Runciman's Fabricio Jesco. Fabricio Jesco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gaston Cristofor fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Runciman's protests and gave Gaston Cristofor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Runciman getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gaston Cristofor hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Runciman's goalkeeper Fabricio Jesco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Edorta. If Fernan Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lobos Azules's Ruben Itzaina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Cristofor in the 84th minute of play. Fabricio Jesco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Higinio Edorta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 87 minute of play. Ubaldo Jakobe's late challenge caught a Lobos Azules's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Jakobe helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Runciman got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Jakobe. Fernan Oier struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ruben Itzaina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Runciman. Although Runciman had been in control for most of the match, Lobos Azules still came away with the win.
