CS Camba Cua's Agustin Bras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save CS Camba Cua from getting a goal against them. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Belasko couldn't finish the play. Esteban Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gualterio Montay fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrero AFC's protests and gave Gualterio Montay a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Potrero AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gualterio Montay hit a great ball. If Esteban Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Arturo Belasko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Esteban Abalos managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS Camba Cua's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Abalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Hermelando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnaldo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Celso Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jaime Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinicio Arlo made a kick off. Ermegildo Nel hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jaime Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Esteban Abalos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Hermelando was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Esteban Abalos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esteban Abalos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. 72 minutes into the match, Potrero AFC's goalkeeper Jaime Hermelando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavino Savier. In the 75th minute, Vinicio Arlo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potrero AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Vinicio Arlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Potrero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Nel. After a defensive mix-up in Potrero AFC's zone, Esteban Abalos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Hermelando came out of the goal and Esteban Abalos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
