Molles's Simon Cordarrel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Molles from getting a goal against them. Molles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Qwinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Molles's Mariano Qwinton got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Haroldo Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molles's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Flor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melquiades Argi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Aimar made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Flor in the 55th minute of play forced Larsen FC's goalkeeper Hector Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Larsen FC booed when Molles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Flor didn't get a good kick on the ball.
