In the 4th minute Atilano Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Senin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Efraim in the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, Piquete FC's Leon Senin got control of the ball when Benedicto Eufemio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Raul Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. el rey de copas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Efraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Piquete FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benedicto Eufemio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Atilano Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Piquete FC's goalkeeper Leon Senin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leon Senin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Gaxan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Esteve Ruy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilano Gaxan went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 32 played minutes el rey de copas got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Ur. The el rey de copas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Piquete FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Leonides Txanton made the kick off in the second half. Atilano Gaxan came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Esteve Ruy could save by the left post. Raul Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquete FC. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Esteve Ruy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in el rey de copas's zone, Atilano Gaxan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Ruy came out of the goal and Atilano Gaxan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 played minutes el rey de copas got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Birila. Everardo Astrada was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Filiberto Kismi kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Raul Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Eufemio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Leon Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Piquete FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
