In the 10th minute, Laureano Jaume got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Piquete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Jaume came free, but Leon Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Jaume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Senin having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Leonides Txanton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernabe Oinatz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the game, Laureano Jaume lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Leon Senin. Haroldo Jerico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emiliano Ishmael was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Piquete FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Emiliano Ishmael hit a great ball. Leon Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Jaume, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Piquete FC's goalkeeper Leon Senin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Jerico. After having played for 35 minutes, Atilano Gaxan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Gaxan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Senin having to interfere. Atilano Gaxan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Jaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Leon Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Piquete FC's Leon Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Jaume in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Jerico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Senin was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Haroldo Jerico took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Senin. Leon Senin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnulfo Abascal during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Arnulfo Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mercedes's Haroldo Jerico got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Piquete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Jerico struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Leon Senin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercedes. Laureano Jaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Leon Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77thth minute of the game Arnulfo Abascal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piquete FC's Leon Senin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute Haroldo Jerico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mercedes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
