Pringles AFC's Reynaldo Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Marin in the 10th minute of play. If Santo Lohitzun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Marin in the 19th minute of play. Marco Geleberto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isidoro Innocenzio. Vélez Sarsfield's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vélez Sarsfield's Isidoro Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Lohitzun in the 29th minute of play. Isidoro Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Dantel in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vélez Sarsfield's zone, Celedonio Dantel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Innocenzio came out of the goal and Celedonio Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Santo Lohitzun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pringles AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Lohitzun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Innocenzio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celedonio Dantel went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Isidoro Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Lohitzun in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Lohitzun was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Vélez Sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Berto. Santo Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Lohitzun struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Isidoro Innocenzio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pringles AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Lohitzun in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Innocenzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Pringles AFC's Santo Lohitzun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Innocenzio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Celedonio Dantel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Isidoro Innocenzio, passed just outside the right post. Isidoro Innocenzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Lohitzun in the 80th minute of play. Celedonio Dantel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Isidoro Innocenzio made a huge save. Edelmiro Berto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Santo Lohitzun was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Pringles AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pringles AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Dantel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Innocenzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celedonio Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Pringles AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vélez Sarsfield.
