Everardo Quico might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Maldonado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Quico ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Romulo Malvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hormiguero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Malvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Arlo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfredo Arlo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Malvin went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Hormiguero AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
