After 13 played minutes, Garuhapé's Eloy Christobal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivan Ekhi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garuhapé reached it. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind La Quema Juniors's goalkeeper Ivan Ekhi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Ekhi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Quema Juniors's Dionisio Ostots got a free kick in the 26th minute. Marco Mouricio might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Ekhi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Ekhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Cirilo Viator left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garuhapé fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ivan Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Mouricio in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, La Quema Juniors's goalkeeper Ivan Ekhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cirilo Viator.

When Freddy Valente fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Viator in the 72nd minute of play forced La Quema Juniors's goalkeeper Ivan Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Ekhi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Mouricio's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Marco Mouricio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Viator in the 78th minute of play forced La Quema Juniors's goalkeeper Ivan Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, La Quema Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Viator came free, but Ivan Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Christobal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
