RompeTibias's Tomas Rubio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save RompeTibias from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Artal in the 10th minute of play forced RompeTibias's goalkeeper Tomas Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codihué FC's Jose Artal got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jose Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, RompeTibias's Higinio Lorencio got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in RompeTibias's zone, Jose Artal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Rubio came out of the goal and Jose Artal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Codihué FC booed when RompeTibias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Etxahun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Jose Artal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomas Rubio. Jose Artal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tomas Rubio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Oalo in the 30th minute. Jose Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jose Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Rubio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Artal in the 38th minute of play. RompeTibias's Tomas Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Artal in the 41st minute of play. Higinio Lorencio charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Lorencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, RompeTibias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Rubio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Artal in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Artal made a kick off. Higinio Lorencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Rubio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Artal went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute Cristobal Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Artal in the 66th minute of the match. Lino Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Hunfredo having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Codihué FC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Unai. After 71 minutes of play, Codihué FC's Jose Artal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Rubio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jose Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tomas Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Rubio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Oalo in the 77th minute of play. Cristobal Oalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Rubio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RompeTibias's zone, Jose Artal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Rubio came out of the goal and Jose Artal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Cristobal Oalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Rubio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Oalo in the 95th minute of play forced RompeTibias's goalkeeper Tomas Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, RompeTibias's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Artal came free, but Tomas Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Codihué FC had played much better football throughout.
