Gervasio Sarracino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Urdin having to interfere. In the 19th minute Salvador Mercurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Marcos Transito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamangueyú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samico the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Tamangueyú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Transito to maneuver through the defense. If Jonatan Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Jonatan Gauargi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Braulio Chan. Felipe Urdin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Innocenzio in the 30th minute. When Gervasio Sarracino came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Tamangueyú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Sarracino couldn't finish the play. After 39 played minutes Tamangueyú got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Leoncio. Braulio Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Tabor in the 41st minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Samico's Jonatan Gauargi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Chan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

Felipe Urdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervasio Sarracino's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Jonatan Gauargi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Braulio Chan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Filiberto Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Chan having to interfere. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Tamangueyú. Honorato Sindo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felipe Urdin. 2-2. Braulio Chan came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Samico's Jonatan Gauargi. But to his dismay, Jonatan Gauargi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After having played for 85 minutes, Filiberto Tabor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Tabor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiberto Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Samico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
