After some careless play in the Vitguan Fc. defense, Maximino Sayveon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Reynardo. The Vitguan Fc. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Reynardo should have stopped the shot. Rosendo Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Reynardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Valerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vitguan Fc.'s zone, Rosendo Valerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Reynardo came out of the goal and Rosendo Valerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Maximino Sayveon came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Pereyra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Sayveon couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Aureliano Reynardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Vitguan Fc. got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Bilintx. In the 41st minute of the match Eleuterio Nuno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Reynardo skillfully saved the ball. Aureliano Reynardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Valerio's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Rosendo Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Aureliano Reynardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Lorenz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rosendo Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pereyra's Rosendo Valerio got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Vitguan Fc.'s Aureliano Reynardo got control of the ball when Maximino Sayveon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vitguan Fc.'s Aureliano Reynardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Valerio in the 60th minute of play. When Pereyra's Rosendo Valerio in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eleuterio Nuno was slow to take the kick. During this time Pereyra's players had a chance to rest. Pereyra's Rosendo Valerio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aureliano Reynardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Maximino Sayveon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Pereyra's Rosendo Valerio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aureliano Reynardo. Aureliano Reynardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 84th minute Jairo Lorenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rosendo Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute of the match, Maximino Sayveon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aureliano Reynardo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rosendo Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Rosendo Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Vitguan Fc. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Sotil to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 97 minutes, Maximino Sayveon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pereyra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Sayveon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pereyra's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
