Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Justo Nicholas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Valentin Salvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Rius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Salvino ran back to his position shaking his head. 3 minutes into the match, Orlando Ishmael notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Yacuy's Guaberto Rius. Guaberto Rius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Guaberto Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yacuy's Justo Nicholas in 10 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Octavio Aritza guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 11th minute Justo Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Justo Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yacuy's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Nicholas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Aritza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Yacuy booed when Caroya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Diego Naldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yacuy's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Naldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Aritza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justo Nicholas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Aritza having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Gavino Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yacuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Dimo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Yacuy fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Yacuy's Justo Nicholas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Justo Nicholas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Octavio Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, Yacuy's Gavino Dimo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavio Aritza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Salvino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Valentin Salvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Rius was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Justo Nicholas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Aritza having to interfere. If Gavino Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Orlando Ishmael left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caroya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The supporters of Yacuy booed when Caroya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Gavino Dimo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Aritza. Caroya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Dimo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 88 minutes into the match, Caroya's goalkeeper Octavio Aritza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavino Dimo. Valentin Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Rius having to interfere. Justo Nicholas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Octavio Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Yacuy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
