Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Justo Nicholas got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Justo Nicholas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Yacuy's zone, Orlando Ishmael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Rius came out of the goal and Orlando Ishmael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gavino Dimo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Aritza. Octavio Aritza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 15th minute Justo Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Salvino in the 22nd minute of the match. Justo Nicholas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Aritza having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Yacuy's Justo Nicholas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Octavio Aritza. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Caroya defense, Gavino Dimo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Aritza. The Caroya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Aritza should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Eulalio Berart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Octavio Aritza managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Yacuy's Gavino Dimo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gavino Dimo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Aritza having to make a save.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Salvino was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Caroya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Vistruario to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Caroya defense, Justo Nicholas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Aritza. The Caroya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Aritza should have stopped the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Orlando Ishmael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caroya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Ishmael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Yacuy fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Yacuy's Justo Nicholas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Matias Iraido hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Justo Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Dimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guaberto Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Gavino Dimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Cristian Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caroya and the Yacuy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, one of Caroya:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caroya. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Yacuy. Roman Raulo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Octavio Aritza. 6-0. With a little luck, Yacuy's Guaberto Rius got control of the ball when Orlando Ishmael tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Orlando Ishmael came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Caroya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Ishmael couldn't finish the play. Gavino Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Aritza having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Nicholas in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavio Aritza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Octavio Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Dimo in the 91st minute of the match. When Matias Iraido fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caroya's protests and gave Matias Iraido a yellow card for diving instead. 99 minutes into the match, Yacuy's Justo Nicholas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavio Aritza narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
