Yuto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnulfo Emenon came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Quemquemtreu's Justo Salamon. But to his dismay, Justo Salamon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adrian Koldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Ellande in the 16th minute. When Justo Salamon came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Quemquemtreu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Salamon couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Froilan Ourente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Peio in the 26th minute of the match. Adrian Koldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Peio, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Bernardo Quirce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quemquemtreu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yuto the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Salamon in the 36th minute of play forced Yuto's goalkeeper Arnulfo Emenon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Yuto's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Boniel came free, but Arnulfo Emenon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Quemquemtreu's Domingo Boniel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Emenon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrian Koldo was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Hugo Peio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugo Peio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
