Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Melchor Theodore kicked off to start the match. Victor Berasko hit a great ball. The long shot by Angelino Beat in the 14th minute really tested Herminio Iraido's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Julio Llope in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herminio Iraido, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dionisio Selmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Iraido having to make a save. When Julio Llope came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Barrow fans jumped to their feet. After 38 minutes, Mario Nafarroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrow and the Frontera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrow's goalkeeper Cristo Mateus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Lastur in the 46th minute of play forced Barrow's goalkeeper Cristo Mateus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionisio Selmo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Iraido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frontera AFC's Herminio Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Selmo in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Barrow's Julio Llope sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Iraido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frontera AFC's Melchor Theodore got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dionisio Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iraido having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Julio Llope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Iban charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Iban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristo Mateus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Lastur in the 98th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barrow had played much better football throughout.
