Evelio Virila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hortensia's Americo Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Virila in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Evelio Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Matxin in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Hortensia's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Virila came free, but Americo Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Virila, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Evelio Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Faustino Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hortensia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Bizen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Eliseo Ederono made a huge save. Faustino Jeraldo got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Hortensia booed when Ampacama AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hortensia's zone, Evelio Virila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Chorache came out of the goal and Evelio Virila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Virila in the 42nd minute of the match. Carolo Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Americo Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Ampacama AFC's Evelio Virila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Chorache made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Ampacama AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Virila to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Hortensia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Nerio to maneuver through the defense. Elias Henrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Serafino Mercurio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Americo Chorache. Serafino Mercurio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Americo Chorache made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Evelio Virila sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Virila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Americo Chorache made a huge save. Dario Matxin struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Americo Chorache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampacama AFC. Faustino Beltran struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Eliseo Ederono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hortensia. Evelio Virila succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 80th playminute. Dario Matxin charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Matxin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Americo Chorache made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Evelio Virila sent off a good shot on target. Evelio Virilas short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Americo Chorache to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Hortensia's zone, Evelio Virila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Chorache came out of the goal and Evelio Virila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Hortensia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ampacama AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
