Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Juan Rafe made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, La Banda del Pupi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Mitxaut to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Tercero took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Iraunkor. Marcelo Iraunkor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Fabio Iratzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vespucio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Banda del Pupi the free kick. La Banda del Pupi's Domingos Ofelio was substituted for Israel Ponciano. A collision led to Vespucio FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fabio Iratzeder hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Vespucio FC's goalkeeper Mateo Astrada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Mitxaut. 23 minutes into the match, Juan Rafe notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Banda del Pupi's Marcelo Iraunkor. Marcelo Iraunkor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 27 minutes, Juan Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vespucio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Rafe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Vespucio FC's Erasmo Mede nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Iraunkor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Mateo Astrada was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Domingos Ofelio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Domingos Ofelio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Joaquin Isusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mateo Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Domingos Ofelio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateo Astrada. Domingos Ofelio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 44 minutes into the match, Vespucio FC's goalkeeper Mateo Astrada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquin Isusko. Mateo Astrada was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Domingos Ofelio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Domingos Ofelio really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquin Isusko made a kick off. Prudencio Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Isusko in the 58th minute of play forced Vespucio FC's goalkeeper Mateo Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 60 played minutes Vespucio FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Xacintu. After 66 played minutes Vespucio FC got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Tercero. In the 69th match minute, Vespucio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Tercero to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Iraunkor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Rafe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vespucio FC's goalkeeper Mateo Astrada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mateo Astrada came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by La Banda del Pupi's Domingos Ofelio. But to his dismay, Domingos Ofelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 79th minute Juan Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Iraunkor was a little too slow when Erasmo Mede got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 4-4. A collision led to Vespucio FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Martin Montes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vespucio FC's zone, Joaquin Isusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Astrada came out of the goal and Joaquin Isusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Ofelio in the 96th minute of play.
