Orlando Maura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Orlando Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Branca CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Maura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Ibon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Maura did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Cirilo Ibon 22 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Orlando Maura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Estevez got free with Cirilo Ibon in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirilo Ibon was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Orlando Maura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orlando Maura really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Angelo Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cirilo Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Quintana to make the kick off. Angelo Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Ibon having to interfere. If Angelo Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Lavalle's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Celipe came free, but Cirilo Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 64 minutes, Orlando Maura made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lavalle's Cirilo Ibon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lavalle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Maura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
