Placido Kusko might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Estebe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Kusko ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Silvano Muno got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Botija's Placido Kusko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vicente Estebe. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Ferdinand to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Roque Taurino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seclantás's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botija the free kick. Roque Taurino hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Bartolo Eguzki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Estebe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Placido Kusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vicente Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Guillermo Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seclantás's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Ruy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Ovando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute Silvano Muno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Estebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Placido Kusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Elixio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Silvano Muno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botija's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Muno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Estebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
