Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Higinio Txaran started the match with the kick off. Sergio Erramu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Arias in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Recreativo Bizancio were awarded a corner. Camilo Lluc went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Recreativo Bizancio's Camilo Lluc to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergio Erramu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Higinio Txaran came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Animán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Txaran couldn't finish the play. Sergio Erramu made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Leon Arias sent off a good shot on target. Higinio Txaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Milio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ramon Gomesano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recreativo Bizancio's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Gomesano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Erramu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Gomesano in the 17th minute of play. Ramon Gomesano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Erramu having to interfere. Sergio Erramu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Gomesano in the 26th minute of the match. Higinio Txaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Erramu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Recreativo Bizancio got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Frisco. Recreativo Bizancio's Zacarias Milio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Honesto in the 42nd minute of play. Recreativo Bizancio's Leo Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Isidoro Honesto hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Sergio Erramu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Gomesano in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Gomesano in the 55th minute of play forced Animán's goalkeeper Sergio Erramu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Erramu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Dalmacio Fidensio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes Animán got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Txaran. In the 63rd minute Dalmacio Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Erramu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Animán getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Edelmiro Elazar hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Gomesano in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Erramu saved Animán from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Animán's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Gomesano came free, but Sergio Erramu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Recreativo Bizancio getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Leon Arias hit a great ball. If Higinio Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Animán's Sergio Erramu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Gomesano in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Leo Artaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, one of Animán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Animán. Animán:s Sergio Erramu showed great skill when he stopped Camilo Lluc:s penalty. Animán's Higinio Txaran got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Animán's goalkeeper Sergio Erramu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Recreativo Bizancio supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Animán's performance. The match ended with a win for Animán.
