Raimundo Darien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorio Abar having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Caseros FC's zone, Guido Pabla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Ortle came out of the goal and Guido Pabla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Caseros FC's Americo Diegotxe got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Freddy Mark came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Caseros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Mark couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes, Angelo Bernaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaramillo and the Caseros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelo Bernaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Raimundo Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caseros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edelmiro Calisto in the 30th minute. Caseros FC's Edelmiro Calisto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Honorio Abar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 34th match minute, Caseros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Vincente to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Incendio in the 37th minute of play forced Caseros FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Ramond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Ortle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When Celedonio Tino fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caseros FC's protests and gave Celedonio Tino a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Mark was the one to do the kick off. Amadeo Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Incendio in the 61st minute of the match. Eugenio Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Ortle having to interfere. Amadeo Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Nafarroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 71st match minute, Caseros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Sotil to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Americo Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Ramond scored 1-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Ortle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Incendio in the 82nd minute of play forced Caseros FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eugenio Incendio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Jaramillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Incendio couldn't finish the play. Honorio Abar was a little too slow when Celedonio Tino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-1. Honorio Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Mark in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
