The supporters of San lorenzo booed when Amanao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Hitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Leo Ostadar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San lorenzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Ostadar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Amanao's Roman Buinton got a free kick in the 24th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Arsenio Laurendi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th minute, Celedonio Gau made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Eyague. San lorenzo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejo Frances to make the kick off. Arsenio Laurendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Frances's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Amanao's Arsenio Laurendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Ostadar in the 56th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Erasmo Inautzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amanao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San lorenzo the free kick. In the 91st minute, Erasmo Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
