With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Emmanuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ariel's Severo Gagriel got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Mano in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzalo Emmanuel saved Ariel from getting behind. Cosme Arnas charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Arnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Cosme Arnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ildefonso Chumo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Norberto Sengrat fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ariel's protests and gave Norberto Sengrat a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ariel's Norberto Sengrat got a free kick in the 19th minute. Gonzalo Emmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Chumo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Mano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gonzalo Emmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorio Lizardi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnino Polo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Saturnino Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Chumo made a kick off. Celso Loreto's late challenge caught a Ariel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Loreto helped the player get up and apologised. Celso Loreto hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ariel's Gonzalo Emmanuel got control of the ball when Enzo Mano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ildefonso Chumo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gonzalo Emmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Drone Fútbol Club's Enzo Mano got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saturnino Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ariel's Cosme Arnas got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Cosme Arnas off the ground. Arnoldo Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Polo having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Ariel's Arnoldo Cebo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Polo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnoldo Cebo scored 3-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Polo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Drone Fútbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
