Saturnino Polo had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Edgardo Gorka's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After the first half Ariel were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Honorio Lizardi made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Eron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Ildefonso Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Enzo Mano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drone Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Mano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Emmanuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ariel had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
