After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Amador Donzel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Chap came out of the goal and Amador Donzel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Ritchie to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Damaso Sandaili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19thth minute of the game Damaso Sandaili who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo's Saturnino Chap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Central's zone, Remigio Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Francho came out of the goal and Remigio Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Egun in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Francho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Urtzi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Lucas Egun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Egun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Francho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Donzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Saturnino Chap made a huge save. Damaso Sandaili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Saturnino Chap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Egun in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Saturnino Chap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Urtzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Saturnino Chap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Central's Damaso Sandaili in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palermo's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Lucas Egun struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mario Francho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Egun in the 63rd minute of play forced Central's goalkeeper Mario Francho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mario Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Donzel in the 67th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Saturnino Chap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Egun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Francho having to interfere. When Augusto Hori fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Augusto Hori a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Augusto Hori hit a great ball. Constantino Cordairo, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 75 minutes, Gervasio Tome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo and the Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Central booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Central's Constantino Cordairo tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Damaso Sandaili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Chap having to interfere. Central's Mario Francho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Central from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Cirilo Bartuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes Central's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haroldo Uxio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Palermo's corner Haroldo Uxio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mario Francho quite easily take care of the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
