Saverio Eliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Eguerdi in the 3rd minute of play. Enrique Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Henric having to interfere. With a little luck, Rosario de Central's Albino Henric got control of the ball when Enrique Lazcano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Lazcano got free with Albino Henric in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Eguerdi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saverio Eliu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Vicente Berasko hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Oscar Kismi came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Espinillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Kismi couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Enrique Lazcano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Henric was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Gutxi was the one to do the kick off. When Victoriano Gutxi came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Rosario de Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Gutxi couldn't finish the play. Saverio Eliu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Conrado Eguerdi sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the game, Oscar Kismi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Albino Henric was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rosario de Central's Albino Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Kismi in the 62nd minute of play. If Victoriano Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Kismi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Albino Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Rosario de Central got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Endura. 89 minutes into the game, Oscar Kismi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Albino Henric was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victoriano Gutxi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Eliu having to make a save.
