The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Constantino Nerio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Claudio Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Usno FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lnch:s goal. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Ariel Giraldo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Constantino Nerio was a little too slow when Marcial Paublo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Hilario Remicio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Urdin having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonzalo Oier during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Lnch got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Oier. Romeo Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Raphael in the 40th minute of play. Constantino Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Constantino Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Raphael was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Claudio Raphael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Giraldo in the 59th minute of play forced Usno FC's goalkeeper Constantino Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Paublo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Nerio having to interfere.
